Your Role as a Support Worker

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals. Your responsibilities may include:

• Personal Care: Assisting participants with daily personal care routines.
• Community Access: Supporting individuals to engage in social, recreational, and community activities.
• Transportation: Helping participants get to appointments, activities, or daily tasks.
• Daily Living Assistance: Providing support with meal preparation, cleaning, and other household duties.
• Companionship: Building trusted relationships and offering emotional support.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed as a Support Worker, you should:

• Be empathetic, reliable, and enthusiastic about helping others.
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Hold a current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (preferred but not essential).
• Relevant qualifications such as a Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Individual Support are an advantage.
